On February 9, Dr.-Ing. Thomas Budiarto successfully defended his PhD-thesis with the topic "Modeling Process Dynamic in Membrane-Electrolyte-Assembly of Chloralkali Electrolyzer considering the Steric and Hydration Effects". The d|b|t|a sincerely congratulates and wishes all the best for his future.
On the 25th of January 2021 the first digital d|b|t|a Women in Chemical Engineering Day took place. With all 20 places taken we were fully booked. Female research assistants from d|b|t|a and from other departments gave insights into their work. Our alumnae and guests from industry gave a grasp of different career paths and encouraged lively talks with sharing their personal experiences. A highlight was the digital tour through our technical department and the interactive workshop led by the coach Svenja Neupert. Our lunch break gave room for smaller groups and more intimate exchange. Thank you for your participation and feedback - we hope to see you again at d|b|t|a.
We would like to sincerely thank Mr. Szczygielski, Mr. Rozwadowski, Mr. Warsany and Mr. Warsawa for the extraordinary commitment they have shown during their trainings with us. Thanks to their personal dedication, we were able to continue working on several projects on schedule even during the "Corona crisis". The d|b|t|a wishes them all the best for the future.
